Welcome Farm

From dream to reality

Our story began with a dream.

I’m American, my husband is Italian, and about nine years ago we moved here from Cuneo with our three boys to begin a new chapter. The idea was a place where people could reconnect with nature, find some peace, and feel better for having come.

The journey was far from easy. Like many families chasing a dream, we faced challenge after challenge. There were moments when we questioned everything and wanted to give up, but we never did.

To help build the farm we planted lavender. It became more than a crop — it stood for hope, for beauty, and for the future we imagined. Every one of us worked. We spent countless days and nights planting, caring, building and believing.

Then, after two years, heartbreak came. One by one the plants began to die. We watched nearly every field disappear until only one small field remained. It was devastating. We were exhausted, discouraged, and felt we had lost years of work.

But that little field reminded us not to quit.

My husband has a gift for making something beautiful out of hard work and stubbornness. Little by little he turned this property into a place we are proud to call home. Today there is a glamping tent where guests sleep under the stars, a pick-your-own garden taking shape, chickens — with all the ups and downs that come with them — and the remaining lavender, still cared for.

Every year we improve a little more. Every season teaches us something new.

This farm was built by our family, together. It stands for perseverance, and for the belief that meaningful things take time. We want every guest who visits to feel the work and the love that went into it.

One lesson we always share with our boys is simple:

“If it’s easy, it’s probably not worth having.”

That belief has carried us through every setback and every success. It is the foundation of our family, our farm, and the welcome we hope to give everyone who comes here.
